Decent wine,
I have been making wine for several years and purchased mainly Wine Expert kits. I ordered one of these to try after making the Barlo kit. This kit suprised me on how it turned out. Granted its not a $15 bottle of wine but, it is enjoyable. My son thinks this is the best one I have made yet. After looking at the reviews I ordered a Chardonnay to try also.

|Gewurztraminer Wine Kit,
One of the first wine kits I bought and the first Vino Italiano. Didn’t expect much but have found this makes a a nice wine. Let it set about a month after bottling and is a very good light wine. Would buy again.

Not a big fan of white wines. It looks very nice in the bottle. Cleared well. Made this one for my wife. She likes it with fish and chicken.

|A very good sauvignon blanc,
For just over $1.50 per bottle you can’t beat it. I was expecting it to be a bit better than drinkable, for this price. Instead, it was a nice “crisp” Sauvignon Blanc. I made it to 6 gallons, including 3 cans of Welch’s Niagara for body, and added the yeast. I racked down to a 5 gallon carboy and eventually bottled. The wine cleared very well. It is as good as any $6 bottle I have tasted, even at this age. With a bit of aging it will be better. I read that these kits make a light bodied wine. I wanted a more medium body. Adding the frozen juice probably did the trick and kept the Sauvignon Blanc profile intact. I would make this again.

Very tasty sauvignon blanc wine……Don’t be fooled by the inexpensive price and free shipping…..everything you need is in this kit….at a buck and a half a bottle lets bottom up
