Question by xbabybonx: Valentine gift for long distance relationship?
Ok, me and my bf of 3 years are living in two different states (school + work) and truthfully we had never spent a V-day together. He planned to get me a ticket flying over but I thought that is too much (since he’s working hard to pay for college tuition too). Anyhow, most of my valentine gifts has always been clothes I bought … boring (I know). So this year I plan to give him a “V-day survival kit”, you know, full of stuff that a couple usually enjoy together on Valentine day. So please help me brainstorm what i should include!
This is what I have so far
Chocolate, several picture of us, coffee mug (personalized with his nickname on it), hot-chocolate powder, gift card to Outback, a CD with me singing a cute song (supposed to be silly), a wine glass (one from a set of two, I’ll keep the other) …

Thanks!!!
Well, if you have any other idea rather than this, please tell me too…
=]
Oh, yeah, we plan to have our V-day dinner via webcam too =] … that’s what the Outback gift card and the wine glass are for … :D

Aw that’s so cute! What a sweet idea! Um.. one thought though keep in mind how you’re planning on sending the kit because chocolate melts so just a thought. Maybe on the cd you can include some songs that remind you of your relationship (like if you have “your song”) and as cheesy and corny as it is you could include those little hearts that have the cute little messages on them. You could also include a homemade card with a cheesy saying from you and maybe put the pictures into a little photo album. Another thing you could do is (if he has access to a computer) give him a webcam and get one for you so you could almost actually “be together” on Valentine’s Day. Hope it works out for you :)
